Spicy Baked Kale Crisps
I love these as a snack, they take little prep and will give you that spicy kick your looking for if you are a lover of spice. Perfect for the colder days and a tasty way to add this nutritious veggie to your diet.
Ingredients
1/2 tsp olive oil
Handful of kale roughly chopped
Chilli flakes
Himalayan Salt
Juice and zest of lime (optional)
Method
Add the kale to a baking sheet drizzle with and mix in the olive oil.
Sprinkle with chilli flakes and add a few grinds of your salt.
Cook at 160 degrees C or for around 8-12 mins. The low cooking temperature allows the kale to crisp and brown at the edges without burning.
Once cooked remove from the oven and let cool and if desired grate over some zest of lime and sprinkle with a little of the lime juice, be careful not to add too much as this could soften the kale.
