Spicy Baked Kale Crisps

I love these as a snack, they take little prep and will give you that spicy kick your looking for if you are a lover of spice. Perfect for the colder days and a tasty way to add this nutritious veggie to your diet.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp olive oil

  • Handful of kale roughly chopped

  • Chilli flakes

  • Himalayan Salt

  • Juice and zest of lime (optional)

Method

  • Add the kale to a baking sheet drizzle with and mix in the olive oil.

  • Sprinkle with chilli flakes and add a few grinds of your salt.

  • Cook at 160 degrees C or for around 8-12 mins. The low cooking temperature allows the kale to crisp and brown at the edges without burning.

  • Once cooked remove from the oven and let cool and if desired grate over some zest of lime and sprinkle with a little of the lime juice, be careful not to add too much as this could soften the kale.
