Produce Wash

Washing your produce (fruits and veggies) is important even if they state they are prewashed, ready to eat and organic. They can still become contaminated by dirt and microbes during handling, storage and transportation, others may additionally contain pesticide and other chemical residues from growing.

Here is my homemade wash solution:
• Sink or bowl of water
Bragg’s Apple cider vinegar (~3caps)
• 🍋 juice (1tablespoon)
Pink Himalayan salt (1teaspoon)

Just let sit for 15-20mins or scrub with a vegetable brush where needed and rinse thoroughly.

Stay happy and healthy,

Chel
